It just started happening this week in the last few days. At first it was happening like before with having to hit the button 3-5 times to get the arm to react sometimes. Yesterday is when it got bad, you can press the button once and it opens, or you can sit there pressing it for 15-30 seconds and it not open. We have had to start putting the arm in service mode and just running the lane with the arm in the opened position to get people through the gate.

Just to add, the close button does not work for the RFID or guest lanes still. The open button for the RFID lane requires you to hold the button to keep it open. Since it used to be, press the button and it opens until a vehicle goes through, we have had a lot of close calls of the arm almost coming right back down on vehicles.

After the guest arm was reinstalled today and made functional again, the button is still not working properly to open the gate. It takes several button pushes to open, and sometimes it doesn’t open at all.
